In this course, you have developed the purpose of your research, the problem statement, the research questions, the hypotheses for Quantitative studies or central question for Qualitative studies, related your project to the Merida text, and you will be completing your literature review. You have identified at least one theory or central question that you will discuss in your literature review as part of your applied research project. What theory or theories relate well to your topic? How would you incorporate theory into your research? Remember the use of theory is different for qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches. What would be different about the theory used if you choose either fixed, flexible, or a mixed methods approach?
