Employment, earnings, comparable worth, and other employment issues

This discussion topic is for the two topics related to the labour market. Again, I want you to create your own threads. You can ask questions like “what are the dimensions of inequality, and how do we work to create equity?”  or “What is the difference between treating people equally and equitably and why does this matter?”  Also, can you identify invisible barriers to equity that have not been identified or discussed? What about the dangers of working in law enforcement if you are female, differently abled, or bipoc?  You can look up the definition of “bipoc” if you need a refresher.
