The Future of Nursing, Leading Change, Advancing Health

The IOM report has been published since 2010 and detailed 4 Key Messages and 8 Recommendations.  Now 10 years later what has been accomplished?  For each of the 4 key messages, address the following

Section I: What has been accomplished?  What still needs to be done? What recommendations can to make in order to accomplish the goal?

Section II: How has nursing practice for each key message changed because of this report?

Section III: Choose 1 message that you feel is essential to the future of professional nursing. Explain your rationale for why its essential. Identify (specifically) ways to get nurses involved to make these changes occur.

Length of each section:
Minimum: 1.5 pages
Maximum: 2 pages

Remember, you must cite the references (articles) in your paper.

A minimum of 3 references other than textbooks are required.
