Discuss and analyze the dynamics and dimensions associated with Webers work on the origins of the capitalist social system and modern society. Attention should be given to the work by Hadden (chapter 4), Farganis (chapter 3), and the associated articles pertaining to this theorist: Giddens Introduction to Webers (The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism), the except from Webers The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism, and Bococks article on Religion and the Rise of Capitalism, pertinent material from chapter one in Hadden, and Kardaras (Notes on Theorist), and lectures.
