Program Design
This Assignment assesses the following outcomes:
Theory: Apply appropriate strategies using a theoretical and philosophical framework built on values of the human services profession.
Critical Thinking: Analyze scope of populations served and appropriate methods of service delivery.
Application: Apply skills, strategies, and knowledge related to design, implementation, and evaluation of human services programs.
Program Design
For the second part of your capstone project, you will design the specific interventions for your proposed program.
1) Proposed Intervention, Purpose and Objectives (one page)
(a) Identify and describe at least THREE (3) interventions for your program and the purpose and objective of each intervention This part of your paper relates to the DOC 1 (ATTACHED)
Application of Research or Theoretical Perspective Guiding the Intervention Proposed (one page)
2) In this section, you will address how the research and your theoretical perspective matches with the program interventions.
3) Identify and describe AT LEAST ONE (1) theoretical perspective that guides the intervention you have chosen for your program.
(a) Explain this theoretical perspective from our research, your rationale for choosing it, and how the interventions support this theoretical perspective.
4) Correcting the Problem from a micro, mezzo and/or macro perspective (one page).
i) Analyze and apply how the program addresses or corrects the problem from the micro, mezzo and/or macro systems. This part is related to DOC 2. (ATTACHED)
5) Funding the Intervention (half page)
i) Explain how the program will be funded, including who will fund it, how it will be funded and any obstacles to funding. Describe in as much detail as possible, supported by research, the components of the funding and business plan.
6) Plan for Implementation: timelines, phases and projected actual results/outcomes (half page)
i) Identify the timeline for implementing the program design, including the phases of program development.
ii) Last, describe at least THREE (3) projected results and outcomes of your program. The Funding and Plan for Intervention parts relate to DOC 3 (ATTACHED).
The Assignment must be a minimum of FOUR (4) pages (excluding title and reference page), utilizing at least FOUR (4) scholarly academic references.
Please refer to readings that examine the differences between community education and advocacy for clients and analyze the needs of clients to develop the most appropriate goals and design intervention.
Please refer to readings that explore the role of community-needs assessment with regard to grant proposals and evaluate operational and strategic planning, budget development and the monitoring of expenditures.

IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THIS ASSIGNMENT, THE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS MUST BE READ AND TAKEN INTO SERIOUS CONSIDERATION.
