Myths

Imagine that you have been asked to compile a handout composed of a list of common beliefs about learning, called Debunking Learning Myths. List at least 10 different common beliefs about learning that relate to the childhood years, the latest findings on this topic, and how this information translates into parenting or teaching practices. Each belief should be accompanied by at least a one-paragraph explanation and at least one reference to support the statement. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included.
