Trauma in Public Education caused by Race, Gender and Violence

Topic Abstract and Partial Source List with 1 Annotation
Will require students to reflect on the themes and texts we have explored in the course and select a modern-day issue or event that best demonstrates their understanding of concepts of race and gender violence. At this point in the semester, students must select their topic and submit a 300-word topic abstract alongside a partial source list of 5-7 scholarly sources (at least 1 primary source) with one source annotated.
