The components of a content analysis you will research and write about include: subject matter, personal interpretation, symbols and iconography, context, physical surroundings, and method of encounter.

Paragraph 3: Use your research to consider the context
Elaborate on how the context relates to, influences, or is seen in the resulting artwork
Conclusion: Summarize thesis statement
Your paper should be clearly organized. It should have an introductory paragraph, three supporting paragraphs, with each paragraph including content as described in the above guidelines. and a concluding paragraph.
The content of your paper should identify, interpret, and/or consider the following areas for your selected work of art: subject matter, personal interpretation, symbols and iconography, context, physical surroundings, and method of encounter.
You should use vocabulary words and technical terms when relevant. Terms and vocabulary should be clearly defined, interpreted, and expanded upon.
Your paper should reference at least two sources, one of which will be our textbook. Your second source must be considered a scholarly source. It may be a book, journal, or from an online database hosted by our library and must be meant for adult learners. Internet sources will not be permissible.
You will turn in a Works Cited List as a third page, along with your paper.
