For your Final Project, select a local company, that has fewer than a hundred locations, from which you have purchased either a product or service in the past. The company must have both a brick-and-mortar and an online presence with a corporate Web site. Research the company and then write an essay (at least 1,250 words in length) about the company that addresses the information in the box at a minimum.
Your essay must include an introduction, a body, and a conclusion and should address all relevant parts of each question.
You must cite the textbook and at least two additional resources in APA format.
All sources must be cited in APA format as described in the Lesson 0 information.
Provide a summary of the company you selected by answering the following questions:
How long has the company been in business?
What are the primary product(s) and/or service(s)?
Where does the company operate?
How many locations does the company have, and who are the primary stakeholders?
b. Summarize the company’s mission and vision statement as well as its core values. Based on your research as well as your experience with the company, do you believe the company implements these values in their business practices? Provide evidence from your research to support your analysis.
c. Identify at least two ways this company has used technology to achieve a business advantage. How might the company use customer data to increase this advantage?
d. Summarize an interesting fact about the company you discovered through your research. In light of the things you learned in the course about communication, ethics, financial management, marketing, and leadership – do you have more or less respect for the company knowing this new fact. Provide rationale for your response.
