Below is a list of names (in no particular order) of people who contributed important information to the Field of genetics. For this assignment you are going to build a timeline of events associated with the person or group of people listed. If two or more people are listed together in this list then that means they discovered something at the same time (sometimes together and sometimes independently).
Note: Some of the events that are important are not exact so please feel free to use a year or a year range as part of your timeline.
Assignment Instructions:
Look up each name (or group of names) and write a short (1-2 sentence) description of what they discovered in genetics and when they discovered it (just the year will be fine).
Put this information in the table (there is a table attached as a word document) in order by year (from oldest to newest) events. Remember, you are recording the date of the discovery and not the dates of the births or deaths of the scientists.
